  7. To do this, first, switch off the Nuvi and unplug it from the power source. On the bottom right corner of the device, hold the finger and at the same time press the power on button as well. This will ask you to erase all of the data with the device. Choose the yes option and this will reset the device. In some time the device will get restarted and sound will be restored to the device.
